Yes Rituja, they deserve every bit of it.Where do u find such selfless people in these times, who spend their time and money to make someone elses future?

There is a Chinese saying

Dont give a beggar Fish to eat,TEach  him how to fish,so that he can have fish for the rest of his life.

These two professors are putting these boys on their feet,so they can feed their families and dependants for the rest of their lives.

Hmmm...............with this chapter you sure have managed to add a little more flesh to the skeletal frames of a few characters.......some a little less padded in the upper storey between the ears and some a lot more padded elsewhere.....

Dear Madds,

Yes u are right. The police can guide me right.haha.

Well i read 5 newspapers everyday.Times of india,Hindustan Times,Pioneer, Economic Times, and the local hindi Dainik Bhaskar.

Yesterday ET had this article on the last page, and i brst out laughing. They do come up with really strange stories.

Even today is a great stroy in HT, regarding the students of Kota studying for IIT,Go to temples and put letters to God, praying for good marks, sucess and prosperity.

These articles kindle some other memories,an d so the past and the present combine to give a nice blog.

And u will notice i always give the source of information, the paper, page no.

Thanks for yr kind comments.kamal

Ipsi ,a non vegetarian with special taste for chickenmasala, should not have accepted the condition put  up by Balu's family who were pure vegetarians. When she liked to wear fashionable dresses it must have been  too harsh for her to transform herself as a pure south indian bride.Balu earned a fantastic salary and that probably outweighed other negative factors eg  his age ,conservative parents etc On their first marriage anniversary Balu got Ipsi her choisest chicken masala. Many Tamil Brahmins have surpassed non vegetarians these days. There is every reason for Balu to shed his conservatism or be prepared for a crisis.

Hi Kalyanee,

A nice one! All of us have gone thro' this phase and there are many such instances when we or our siblings have done something or the other which, when recollected later, has its enjoyable moments. Some forget them and some, like U an' Hebrew Princess put it on paper, which is very refreshing!

cheers,
chiksunny
