I did not want to dignify your stupid comments by even replying to them, but the venemous content just compells me to say a word to you ...

Not everyone who comments on this blog agrees with the views of the writer, but there is a decent and civilised way to disagree ... Personal rude attacks and cutting and pasting irrelevant pieces of news from somewhere do not constitute that ... It does nothing but show your immaturity ...

I've seen you rudely commenting on Nargis' blogs before, using other names like Black beak ... You seem to lack not only moral fibre but courage as well and are therefore hiding behind these false names ... At least Nargis has the courage to say what she wants in the open, using her real name ... And she has the courage not to delete your filthy comments, even though she could do so in the click of a button ...

I doubt if you've even read the article, since none of your comments seem to be remotely relevant to the topic ... They are just random rabid ranting ...

You seem to be an insecure teenager who has had an inadequate life ... You are making up for some serious lack of attention in your personal life by trying to garner attention in the webspace by making outrageous comments on other blogs ... Grow up, boy ...

Nice to know that you could get some information from my blogs. (Sulekha should also note that I am doing my bit to bring in new people. :-))

About getting disheartened..Courage my friend!! We have suffered 950 years of Islamic , Christian and then Socialist rules. We have survived. Sanatana Dharma wont be an easy victim. We will prevail. Keep up the faith and remember to do good to a fellow hindu.

Let me turn that question around and ask you, Why contributing to Hindutva wouldnt be a better option than contributing to caste? It is a myth that casteism has stopped conversion. For examply  many dalits took to conversion to escape caste (though it didnt work out). Caste has aided conversion.

The only utility for caste would be to use it as a short term option to strengthen hindutva. For example The Balmiki community in UP converted to christianity but are reconverting to hinduism because of the identity of Valmiki as a Saint of Hinduism. This would work in UP because it is rural and community based environment. As economy improves and the nation becomes urbanised we have the option of retaining only  identities associated with individuals. With growing movement of people that can only be religion and language. So a Valmiki family living in Delhi will only have Hindu identity and probably their language - hindi - identity.

Patels control Motels. This is true of 1st generation patels. If we dont strengthen the hindu identity and down play caste then patel kids will end up marrying whites, blacks latinos etc. That is because the patel identity isnt sustainable in an urban or a westernised environment. Caste relies on community whereas religion relies on individual.

Often this caste and religious identities play AGAINST each other. Take another example. Rajaeskhara Reddy is reddy by caste and wins from rayalaseema. He is also a christian but that fact is irrelevant. If Rayalaseema relied on religion then Rajasekhar Reddy would loose. We need to destroy caste for hinduism to be strengthened.

But why did the kid commit suicide.. This is so sad..

I know these days kids lay too much emphasis on marks and grades... Not like they have an influence or control on a person's intellect..

Hey thanks for delving into the archives....and you can say that again, getting my weekends back was a relief. And Yes again, we do tend to harp on the age factor in India. Studies up to this age, marriage before this age, Vaana-prasthashram and Sanyaas-ashram, etc. I broke the mould I guess. I know I'm not the only one, but what the hell...I'll blow my bugle........Thanks again
