IMO these journalists could learn a lot from you about how to calmly and rationally prove a point! I still remember the scrupulously documented evidence you provided when challenged regarding your assertion that most Indian Muslims were dominated by backwards Mullahs. You even gave percentages and all! It sounded VERY accurate to me. It sounded very impressive indeed.

OK, maybe you were GOING TO give this evidence but then became busy researching your upcoming article on US Baptist Churches Funding Separatist Terrorism in Indias North East, and therefore did not get around to it. But everyone is human, na? Whatever the others say, I for one am sure that you have this evidence, and you could share it with us if you felt like it. I am also looking forward to your piece on US Baptists Funding Terrorists. (I do not believe the calumny that you are afraid of writing this while in the US yourself. Please do not worry about that. Your good reputation is safe with us, your fans.

And do not listen to Achyut Saha. Everybody reads your articles. I feel that it is a real public service when you post links to them on any and all discussion boards on sulekha. Ignore the critics. You are not overdoing it, and you are certainly not being ridiculous. (So what if people laugh? Let them laugh! Hahahahaha! See? It is no big deal. Sticks and stones vaghairah.) Speaking for myself, main tho har ek ko ghaur se padhtha hun, and I am sure many others also read them. In fact Achyut also probably reads them, he just does not want to admit.

Maulana Praudullah, you have such a unique gift for summarising interactions that it frankly would not surprise me if you in good faith recounted how Dr Muthuswamy (Hi Dr M!) has spent his last two posts defending CPI(M) and criticising the BJP and VHP.

Btw, IMO your stuff on the RSS was constructive. I think much of the good work its members do is unfairly overshadowed by some of their associates less laudable actions. And I do not think their good works are limited to Hindus. From a story in the Hindu about a Muslim girl from a Pune slum succeeding academically (at the Anglo-Urdu School!):

..........you know what Paradize...i have decided to do the same, this time....just reach there, without informing anyone..........but i am wondering, if i will be able to hide my excitement to come home......the train that i would be taking home reaches at around 9 pm, so one will be able to see who is at the door ringing bell...........that will be the fun..................:)
